​I began Making masks back in 1987, The Museum of Fine Arts Boston was having their annual fundraiser, the theme was a Venetian masked ball and they were having a mask design contest which I entered and won. Since then I've always gone back to mask making, for a while I even taught a mask making class to "at risk" middle  school students. Here's a picture of my prize winning mask.
