Here's some background on the inspiration for this series.
Although sightings are rare, Rhode Island has had it's fair share of aquatic cryptozoological incidents. The best know of which are the finding of the "Block Ness Monster" and the "Teddy's Beach Monster" incident. Occasionally, these magnificent creatures are said to have been spotted late at night, off the shore of Colt State Park, Sabin's Point and Point Judith. This line of handcrafted jewelry is intended to honor our legendary sea monsters who guard our shore from deep down in the waters of our beloved bay.

After a rather difficult year, healthwise, I'm determined to eliminate stress from my life. Along with all the usual remedies, meditation, exercise, going for long walks and avoiding negative people and situations, I've started drawing. Done in Prismacolor, I consider them color studies more than representational illustrations. I'm not sure where this creative venture will take me, but for now it's been quite therapeutic. I've also, as is my nature, put them into festively embellished frames. I'd love to know what you think?
