Although bats sometimes have negative associations, they are more often symbols of community, evolution, rebirth, vitality, mobility and supernatural abilities. They are also believed to represent intuition, dreaming about a bat is often a sign that you need to trust your instincts and follow your intuition when making important decisions. Most Asian cultures consider the bat a symbol of good luck and widespread good fortune. Because bats transition from light to dark so easily, they symbolize the soul's journey. Due to their ability to navigate the dark with agility, perception and intuition, bats are associated with transformation and fearlessness.
Accompanying the bat pendant on this necklace is a labradorite bead which is believed to enhance intuition, promote spiritual growth and strengthen psychic ability.

They do not move in a predictable manner, alway zig zagging to avoid capture while simultaneously maintaining an acute awareness of their surroundings making them the perfect animal to symbolize one's preparedness for an uncertain future. ​The Gadfly Talisman
This talisman is designed to ward off pests and other distractions that prevent you from leading a cheerful and productive life. A gadfly refers to any of various flies, such as a stable fly or warble fly, that bite or annoy domestic animals and livestock. However, the term can also refer to a person who persistently annoys or provokes others with criticism, schemes, demands, requests, etc. In addition to the gadfly image on the pendant (because it takes one to know one) there’s a bead made of genuine onyx which is known to confuse and repel pests.
